If we met through a game, you might know me as NoKiin or Harlen. Both are gaming IDs I’ve used. I also competed in CrossFire Mobile under the name 哈伦.
Between 2015 and 2017, I took part in professional leagues and national tournaments. The photos I’ve kept here include the CMEG 2017 championship, an award ceremony and a team photo.
I wanted to put them somewhere beyond the single line about esports on my résumé. I spent real time on it, and I’d like to keep the pictures too.
Working on games now, I still think about things as a player. How long does it take for an action to respond? Can I restart quickly after losing? Are the rules actually clear when I’m trying to play? Those details are easy to notice from the other side of the screen.
But I don’t need every part of competing to have a career explanation. I like games, and I care about winning. Playing with a team and getting results was worth doing on its own.
